These are my cousins. The one's I spent countless summer days playing with at my grandparents house. As a Christmas present for my aunt, they organized a family photo session and last weekend was the day chosen. The thing I love about these photoshoots is that their chosen location is my cousin's backyard. What's awesome about that is the kids are already use to the scene. This family! Aimee works with my MIL so my first time actually meeting the family was the morning of the photoshoot. I was a little anxious as I didn't know much about the family dynamics prior to capturing these moments but the whole photoshoot was flawless. Their daughter was the cutest, sweetest little girl ever and so cooperative. The weather was a little muggy and very overcast but that is the best option for lighting for photos. I was able to capture some pretty awesome moments.

This is my cousin Scott's family. I absolutely adore them. All of them. Scott was one of those cousins you could look up to. His whole family was. I remember going to high school football games to watch both him and his brother play. I remember spirit days where he and his brother would dress all sorts of crazy to show their spirit. He was a role model in the sense of showing others that you can stick out, be yourself and laugh at yourself and not care what others thought. I enjoyed that about him. Well now he's married and with three children. And ridiculously handsome and smart children. I love this family. Thanks for letting me capture this "stage" of your life Meghan!
